Scritch

Patient centric measuring system of itchiness

Scritch is a measurement system for people who experience chronic skin disorders such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. Itchiness is an inflammatory reaction of the skin that can be a symptom of disease, disorder and or condition. It is a subjective sensation that is very difficult to measure as its symptoms range from mild to severe depending on the individual. Scritch can be used to measure and help analyze an individual’s itching pattern and determine other variables such as prescription medication and environmental factors that may affect their symptoms. Data results from Scritch can be shared between the individual, their family, medical professional and the Smart Home System to improve the quality of life for all involved in the process.
